An award-winning photographer, Rob has worked, studied, and traveled across 80+ countries. When he has time, Rob loves anything in the outdoors, trail running, woodworking, and anything media. Rob received a BA from Hobart College in Wildlife Management, along with an MBA from the University of Washington in International Business, Marketing, and Environmental Management.
Matt is responsible for supervising the technical production aspects of GLP’s work, and also manages the post production process. Matt is a highly dedicated video editor and camera operator. He spends a ridiculous amount of time trying to find the perfect spot to mount a GoPro. He enjoys traveling anywhere and everywhere, and relishes the opportunity to tell stories with GLP. Matt grew up in Tennessee and now resides in Colorado with his lovely wife and kids.
Matt graduated from the University of Memphis with a concentration in Film and Video Production.
Laura is responsible for finding the best ways to share client films with diverse audiences. She works directly with clients to identify their marketing goals and help develop a strategic and comprehensive marketing plan for their film campaigns. Laura has spearheaded multiple campaigns to produce and distribute content to major markets across the USA and globally, including campaign partnerships with leading media publications, NGO’s, and travel brands.
She has a passion for storytelling, writing, wildlife (especially okapis), photography, avocados, and pretty much all things Africa. You can often find this shutterbug daydreaming of African safaris at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Laura graduated from University of Redlands with a double major in Environmental Studies and Creative Writing, and is an alumnus of the School for Field Studies (SFS) Kenya.
As GLP’s Marketing Coordinator, Amber is responsible for putting together the social media and digital marketing copy behind many of GLP’s film campaigns and she serves as GLP’s daily social media voice for both trade and consumer channels. Occasionally, she also steps in to pen a few of GLP’s research articles. In other words, she’s wearing many hats under the “marketing” umbrella at GLP Films.
She has a passion for travel and immersing herself in other cultures, so much so that she’s made her “office” South America since 2016. Cusco, Arequipa, and Cartagena have all served as home base for her as well as the inspiration for her other part-time gig, freelance travel writing for travel agencies.
Jen's role with GLP is to cultivate relationships with partners around the globe who have unique stories to tell, and a need to create content and have it distributed to both consumers and trade partners.
Jen got bitten by the travel bug at the ripe young age of 16, when she went on an exchange program to Bolzano, Italy. She followed it up with a study abroad program in London, and spent the next ten years in the travel industry, working for destination management companies in Europe. She took a brief hiatus from the industry to sink her teeth into her other passion - food - and worked both in catering and on the board of Slow Food Urban San Diego. Inevitably, she missed the travel industry, and reunited with GLP this year. Fun fact: Jen was GLP's first official employee back in 2008!
Jen is constantly wandering; she has lived in Buffalo, Boston, London and San Diego. She currently resides in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, in Salida, CO. Kayaking and rafting on the Arkansas River is her jam when she's not working with our partner DMO's or slinging craft cocktails at the local distillery. Jen does have the "gift of the gab", so start talking about food, wine, travel, adventure, or the Boston Red Sox, and you'll be instant friends!
